Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.01%.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE:HARL), which rose 3.14% or 125.00 points to trade at 4,110.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 2.40% or 68.00 points to end at 2,903.00 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 1.88% or 155.00 points to 8,379.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.43% or 81.00 points to trade at 3,255.00 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 1.49% or 3,320.00 points to end at 220,040.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was down 1.40% or 50.00 points to 3,515.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 260 to 228 and 37 ended unchanged.

Shares in Harel (TASE:HARL) rose to 5-year highs; up 3.14% or 125.00 to 4,110.00.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 7.00% or 6.60 to $100.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 6.61% or 6.51 to hit $104.99 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.38% or 26.90 to trade at $1,975.10 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.23% to 3.20, while EUR/ILS fell 0.51% to 3.48.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 100.09.
