GBP/USD Steady as UK Inflation Dips Below Expectations

UK Inflation Softer Than Expected

The UK’s annual rate eased slightly in December 2024, dropping to 2.5% from 2.6% in November. This was also lower than the market estimate of 2.6%, although it matched the BoE inflation forecast from November.
