Sony operating profit jumps 42% in H1

TOKYO (Reuters) – Sony (NYSE:)’s operating profit soared 42.3% in the first half of the financial year ending March, the company reported on Friday.

Profit for the April-September period was 734.18 billion yen ($4.80 billion).
