Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the fell 1.74%.
The best performers of the session on the were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:), which rose 7.96% or 11.85 points to trade at 160.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 2.98% or 15.00 points to end at 519.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:) was up 1.23% or 7.00 points to 575.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which fell 3.65% or 4.05 points to trade at 106.80 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) declined 2.99% or 33.60 points to end at 1,092.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:) was down 2.81% or 9.80 points to 339.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 72 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.60% or 1.15 to $72.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.40% or 1.07 to hit $77.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 11.05 to trade at $1,970.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 103.93.
