Budrigannews.com -Saudi real estate developer Dar Al Arkan said on Tuesday it had signed an agreement with a company of former US President Donald Trump to use the Trump brand on aド40 billion project in the Gulf State of Oman, including golf courses, hotels and villas.
A regulatory statement issued on Sunday does not disclose the financial terms of the deal with the Trump organization, which manages hotels, golf courses and other real estate around the world.
The Aida project, a joint venture with the Omani Tourism Development Company, will include Trump’s residential villa, a hotel built near Muscat and a golf course, and will take more than a decade to complete, it said.
Trump had handed control of the business to his son while in office.
He has enjoyed close ties with Gulf states during his presidency, including Saudi Arabia, which has investedド2 billion in the company of Trump’s son-in-law and former aide Jared Kushner.
The Trump organization has two golf properties in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, a financial and tourism hub in the Middle East, in partnership with real estate developer Damac.
