Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.19%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Cement and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:2080), which rose 9.93% or 4.75 points to trade at 52.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (TADAWUL:4270) added 9.31% or 1.82 points to end at 21.36 and Baazeem Trading Co (TADAWUL:4051) was up 7.00% or 5.40 points to 82.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230), which fell 9.30% or 3.65 points to trade at 35.60 at the close. Raydan Co (TADAWUL:6012) declined 4.32% or 0.60 points to end at 13.30 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) was down 2.07% or 0.50 points to 23.62.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 181 to 45 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.07% or 0.50 to 23.62.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.64% or 0.61 to $94.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.15% or 0.15 to hit $101.07 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 6.45 to trade at $1,767.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.07% to 3.75, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.05% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 108.44.
