TIME, The Sandbox Partner To Build Time Square in the Metaverse

The Sandbox announces a partnership with TIME to build Times Square in the metaverse. The main goal of TIME is to create a destination that will be the heart of the metaverse.
“Our goal is to create a destination that will be the heart of the metaverse. Since the launch of TIMESPieces, we have focused on developing a community in Web3 that benefited from the incredible 100-year legacy and access TIME has established,” said TIME President, Keith Grossman.
According to The Defiant, this project was revealed on June 21 as part of the NFT.NYC event and will be premiered on a virtual land in the Sandbox.
Kieran Warwick, co-founder of metaverse game Illuvium said, “Time doubled-down on their metaverse play by partnering with The Sandbox is massive news for anyone in the space.” He further said, “The sooner we are able to achieve mass adoption, the more well-known brands we will be able to transition to web 3.”
TIMEPieces is currently in a recruitment process for architectural designs to be submitted for consideration. Additionally, TIMEPieces will also act as a core to hang around with other users, events, and trading activities.
Keith Grossman said that TIME square will provide an inclusive platform for TIMEPieces NFT holders to have unique experiences such as virtual access to discussion, events, and screenings of TIME Studio’s works.
