9 Policemen killed in Pakistan suicide bombing

Budrigannews.com – A police spokesman said on Monday that nine police officers were killed when a suicide bomber drove his motorcycle into a police truck in southwestern Pakistan.
According to spokesperson Mehmood Khan Notizai, the incident occurred in Sibbi, a city located approximately 160 kilometers (100 miles) east of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan.
The latest in a series of attacks on Pakistani police officers, according to hospital officials, left at least seven police officers injured.
No gathering has asserted liability regarding Monday’s assault. Ethnic Baloch guerrillas have been battling the public authority for quite a long time, blaming it for taking advantage of Balochistan’s rich gas and mineral assets.
