Insider buying and selling activities are important for investors to pay attention to. While insiders sell for many reasons, including taxes, it doesn’t always send the right message to investors when the top person is selling. On the opposite side, insiders buy for one reason – because they feel the stock is too cheap, although that doesn’t necessarily mean they are right. On either side of the trade, it is always important to pay attention to the action, especially from the top brass.

Below we highlighted 4 insider buys and sells from today:

Medpace Holdings (NASDAQ:) CEO, August Troendle, purchased another 156,635 shares worth about $24 million during Sept 16-Sept 19, through his Medpace Investors, LLC.

Luminar Technologies (NASDAQ:) CEO, Austin Russell, who has been an active buyer of the stock over the past few months, purchased another 25,000 shares on Sept 20 at $9.8727, bringing his stake to 1,030,000 shares.

Molina Healthcare (NYSE:) CEO, Joseph Zubretsky, filed 144 paperwork to sell 150,000 shares (acquired via option exercise) worth an estimated $51 million.

SolarEdge Technologies (NASDAQ:) Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, Meir Adest, filed 144 paperwork to sell 20,000 shares worth an estimated $6.2 million.
