Budrigannews.com – Fordannounced on Wednesday that the production of the company’s 150,000th Mustang Mach-E began nearly two years ago.Almost all of the Mustang Mach-E’s growth to date has been driven by customers switching from an internal combustion vehicle to an electric one, demonstrating that Ford is developing electric vehicles that satisfy a wide range of customer requirements.
Solid interest for the Mach-E has pushed Passage to the subsequent top of the line EV brand behind current pioneer Tesla (NASDAQ:). Through October 2022, over 31,000 Mustang Mach-Es have been sold solely in the United States.
“We knew there would be skeptics when we put the pony on this Mustang.”I love seeing Mustang Mach-E vehicles on the road and talking to customers, and I am seeing more and more of them,” stated Darren Palmer, vice president, Electric Vehicle Programs, Ford Model e. “What we didn’t quite know at the time was just how popular this car would become.”
Deborah Manzano, Ford’s director of manufacturing, stated, “The plant is buzzing.”In order to produce additional Mustang Mach-E vehicles, there is a brand-new battery line, a brand-new chassis line, and an additional assembly line. Additionally, we recently added a brand-new paint shop.Nothing will remain stationary for long!”
In 2023, the Mustang Mach-E will be available in 37 countries, up from 22 the previous year.New Zealand, Brazil, and Argentina are among the most recent markets for the Mustang Mach-E.
These markets are all a part of Ford’s larger strategy to produce 600,000 electric vehicles annually by the end of 2023. The company intends to begin producing more than 2 million electric vehicles annually by 2026.
