(Reuters) – The United Auto Workers (UAW) stated on Thursday that more than 30% of workers at Hyundai Motor (OTC:)’s Alabama plant had signed cards searching for to hitch the union.
In November, the UAW stated it was launching a first-of-its-kind push to publicly arrange all the non-union auto sector within the U.S. after successful report new contracts with the Detroit Three automakers.
The UAW has for many years unsuccessfully sought to prepare auto factories operated by international automakers.
