Gruppo TIM, or TIM S.p. legally A., which is also known as the TIM Group in English, is an Italian telecommunications company that offers DSL data services and fixed telephony with headquarters in Rome, Milan, and Naples.
In terms of revenues and subscribers, it is the largest provider of telecommunications services in Italy. The most well-known of these was Società Italiana per l’Esercizio Telefonico p, which was formed in 1994 through the merger of several state-owned telecommunications companies.
