Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.76%
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:6013), which rose 10.00% or 18.60 points to trade at 204.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170) added 5.75% or 10.40 points to end at 191.40 and International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) was up 5.37% or 8.80 points to 172.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190), which fell 10.00% or 1.44 points to trade at 12.96 at the close. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) declined 3.52% or 0.46 points to end at 12.62 and Baazeem Trading Co (TADAWUL:4051) was down 3.38% or 2.30 points to 65.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 111 to 109 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:8190) fell to 52-week lows; down 10.00% or 1.44 to 12.96.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.74% or 0.72 to $97.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.17% or 1.17 to hit $101.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.30 to trade at $1,717.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.94% to 3.80, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 107.05.
